Yoga was originally intended as a lineage that would be passed down directly from master teachers to each student individually in a tailor-made, one-on-one practice based on the practitioners individual health, body type and lifestyle. Private sessions are a powerful way to connect with yourself and focus on your specific needs and expectations. Whether you want to practice from the convenience of your own home, or at my home studio in N16, I will accommodate your personal preferences and support you in the best possible way.
Benefits of private yoga:
Begin your yoga journey and develop strong foundations for your practice
Deepen your practice by focusing on specific postures and aspects of yoga
Learn to work with existing injuries or health conditions and improve symptom management
Set long term goals for your practice and understand how to work towards them
Take time for yourself and flexibly fit yoga into your busy schedule

The Feldenkrais Method® of somatic education uses gentle movement and directed attention to help people learn new and more effective ways of moving through life. The method is based on principles of physics, biomechanics, and an empirical understanding of learning and human development. The Feldenkrais® Method can increase ease and range of motion, improve flexibility and coordination, and allows students to rediscover their innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement. Since how we move affects every aspect of our lives, these improvements will often enhance our thinking, emotional regulation, and problem-solving capabilities. You can watch a more complete introduction to the Method here on YouTube.
Feldenkrais® private sessions are known as Functional Integration® (FI) lessons. In FI, the teacher guides an individual student’s movements using gentle, non-invasive touch. The teacher’s touch reflects to the student how they currently organise their body and actions. Over time the teacher’s touch will begin to suggest possibilities for new movement patterns which are more comfortable, efficient, and useful.
Each lesson relates to a desire, intention, or need of the student and so, FI’s are flexible in their approach - some lessons are done lying down on a specially-designed table, others are done in sitting, standing or walking. As needed, the teacher may also use various props to support the student’s comfort, to make certain movements easier, or clearer.
Through respect for the student’s abilities, qualities, and integrity, the teacher creates an environment in which the student can learn in safety and comfort. The lesson is tailored to the unique circumstances of that particular person, at that particular moment, allowing the student to learn how to reorganise their actions in new and more effective ways through the experience of comfort, enjoyment, and ease of movement.
You can watch a more complete introduction to Functional Integration® here on YouTube.

Teaching yoga, meditation and other forms of movement can be deeply fulfilling, yet it is often a very isolating profession. Whether you’re newly stepping into your teaching role or have been offering classes for years, having the steady support of an experienced mentor can be an invaluable anchor for both your professional growth, and your personal wellbeing.
These sessions create a dedicated space to explore whatever arises in your teaching: questions, challenges, patterns, or areas where you feel called to develop. They also offer support for your own practice, by helping you stay connected, resourced, and inspired.
I regularly meet with my own supervisors and find it forms part of an essential circle of caring - we hold space for our clients, but also need space to unfold ourselves.
